Beds of Silk is a peaceful and tranquil retreat for adults only in Labasheeda, County Clare. We’ve designed this luxury glamping experience to ensure your stay with us is as easy and enjoyable as possible. Each shepherd’s hut is equipped with a kitchenette, including a mini-fridge and freezer, microwave, kettle, complimentary ground coffee, toaster, plug-in induction hob, pots, pans and cutlery. Plus, there’s a gas barbecue outside – perfect for a bit of outdoor cooking under the stars!

Great Visit
Soak –
Bring a swimsuit, robe, and sandals for easy access to the sauna, relaxation room, and outdoor hot tub. Prebooking is required to ensure your preferred time slot and a smooth, relaxing experience during your stay.
Taste –
Stock up on plenty of food and refreshments before you arrive. Labasheeda has no restaurant, although there’s a pottery painting cafe just a minutes walk from the huts (opening hours vary throughout the year). A traditional village pub is located two minutes walk from the entrance to Beds of Silk. It opens in the evenings but does not serve food, apart from Tayto crisps and peanuts!
Connect –
Free fibre broadband is available at Beds of Silk, so you’re welcome to bring your electronic devices and enjoy a movie from the comfort of your king-size bed.
Explore –
Pack clothing suitable for Ireland’s changeable weather. Our huts are warm and cosy, but if you plan to explore the beautiful surroundings, it’s best to dress in layers and bring waterproof outerwear for comfort in any conditions.
Store –
If you’re bringing your own bike to Beds of Silk, you can store it overnight in our locked bike store. This secure facility ensures your bicycle is safely stored during your stay, allowing you to enjoy the scenic cycling routes around Labasheeda with peace of mind.
